The most famous, in the version created in Naples beloved all around the world, according to legend, took the name from the italian Queen Margherita di Savoia: the pizza chef from Naples Raffaele Esposito, dedicated her his delicious invention, that the royal tasted and immediately appreciated.
The white of the mozzarella, the red of the tomato sauce and the green of the basil represented in the plate the colors of the national flag: a special hymn to Italy and its flavors, that became one of the symbols of the nation.
