Arbaspàa: the history, the activity and the effort for a sustainable tourism
Arbaspaa Tour operator was born in July 2001 for intuition of Catherina Unger and Eugenio Bordoni.
In an economic field featured by a strong competition, we decided to bet on touristic services and differentiation of the offer.
The numerical and qualitative growth of the staff is our proud: now we’ve 18 employees among administrative staff, cleaning staff and shop assistants at our Explora Trekking store, opened on April 2012.
We get in touch with individual guests and Tour Operators from all over the world and we speak 8 different languages in our office, with mother-tongue staff too.
We manage several accommodations (Vacation rentals, apartments and private rooms), we organize daily tours for individuals and small groups in the Riviera di Levante (East Liguria) with visits to the vineyards, sailing tours, tastings, cooking classes and much more; moreover, we can plan trips for groups in a lot of regions of North/Center of Italy.
Since the beginning, we work to offer a concrete support to the growth of the sustainable tourism in Cinque Terre, a particularly fragile territory, famous in the entire world but maybe less known.
Our daily tours have this purpose: we do not want to offer only the classic “postcard” of Cinque Terre but we would like to give a deep knowledge to travelers.
It has been a great proud for us, last March 2015, when we took over the Azienda Agricola Prima Terra, a local farm producing excellent wines in two important places located in the municipality of Riomaggiore (hamlet “Zuncone” and “Lemen”).
The touristic income is re-invested in the recovery of our land: because only the union between tourism and agriculture can generate optimism and welfare.
