After the successful collaboration at the 32nd Conference of the European Cetacean Society last April, the partnership between Arbaspàa tour operator and Eulabor Institute is renewed, in conjunction with another international event to be held from October 2 to 4 in La Spezia: this is the regional Ace Workshop associated with the public event “Achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement: a global challenge that passes through a local commitment”.
The workshop, which will be attended by 100 UN delegates coming from 50 countries, is organized by the Italian Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the UNFCCC – United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Convention on Climate Change signed in 1992 – in collaboration with Eulabor Institute.
The works will start on October 2nd, with a workshop reserved for employes at the NH Hotel; at the end, the city of La Spezia will welcome the delegates and the organizers inside one of its jewels: the Lia Museum, where there will be held a private event.
Then, the 3rd October, will be the day of the conference open to all citizens who will start at 3 pm in Sala Dante, in Via Ugo Bassi in La Spezia: “Achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement: a global challenge that passes through a local commitment “, During which, for the first time, the non-profit organization Carbon Disclosure Project will present the data on the ecological footprint in Italy.
Finally, on Thursday 4, the delegates, guided by the members of the Manarola Cinque Terre Foundation, will visit part of the land restored by the body, that saves this from the degradation and action of natural elements.
Here, they can focus on the tradition of dry stone walls and how to grow the vineyard on the Unesco World Heritage terracing.
The Municipality of La Spezia, with the mayor Pierluigi Peracchini and the alderman on the environment Kristopher Casati who have underlined the commitment to sustainable development by the city’s institutions, has provided an important support in the realization of the event.
Arbaspàa Tour Operator proudly renews this partnership, in the name of conservation and protection of the environment: one of the cornerstones to which its work is inspired.
