This package is designed for individual travelers who love discovering new places at their own pace, enjoying the atmosphere, history, and local life of the Cinque Terre.
You will stay in one of the characteristic seaside villages, surrounded by colorful houses and narrow alleys overlooking the sea. Our detailed road book will guide you through the most scenic walks inside the villages and along panoramic viewpoints, with suggestions on local traditions, cultural highlights, and authentic experiences. A welcome package with practical information, a wine tasting, and a dinner featuring Ligurian seafood specialties complete your journey of discovery.
The Cinque Terre, a landscape that is unique
Five small villages nestled between sky and sea, connected by short train rides and easy coastal walks: this is the Cinque Terre National Park, a place where landscape and culture intertwine. Terraced vineyards, ancient olive groves, and pastel-colored houses perched on the cliffs tell the story of a community that has shaped its land over centuries. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, the Cinque Terre are a living example of harmony between man and nature.
Here, every stroll reveals something new – a hidden corner, a breathtaking view, a story from the past. Moving from one village to another, you will experience the essence of Ligurian life: the rhythm of the sea, the scent of lemon trees, and the warm hospitality of the locals.
No hiking experience is needed – just curiosity and a desire to explore (and a little bit of fitness, as the territory is quite vertical). The package is perfect for solo travelers, couples, friends, or families who wish to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Cinque Terre through culture, food, and gentle walks.
As the first Italian Tour Operator certified with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS), we collaborate with the Cinque Terre National Park and local certified partners to promote responsible, slow travel that supports the community and respects this extraordinary environment.
Program 3 nights /4 days:
Day 1 Welcome to Cinque Terre
Check in at your accommodation.
Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome pack containing information about the area and suggestions for your visits to the Cinque Terre. The envelope also includes the Cinque Terre Train Card, a ticket to the famous Via dell’Amore, a ferry boat ticket and vouchers for a dinner and a wine tasting. If you arrive in the early afternoon, we recommend taking your first walk in Monterosso, admiring the coloured houses.
Dinner on the first evening will take place at the Michelin-starred restaurant Da Miky in Monterosso, renowned for its refined cuisine and focus on high-quality local ingredients.
Day 2 - From Riomaggiore to Manarola through the Path of Love (Via dell'Amore)
Your first day will take you to discover the beauty of Riomaggiore, with its breathtaking harbor, pebble beach, and scenic walks. You’ll stroll along the famous Via dell’Amore, reopened in 2014 after years of restoration work, and reach Manarola, where more panoramic walks through the vineyards await you, along with one of the largest nativity scenes in the world. You’ll end the day with a wine tasting to discover the local wines.
Dinner on your own.
Day 3 – The discover of Monterosso, Vernazza and Corniglia
Your second day in the Cinque Terre will be slightly more demanding. Take the scheduled ferry boat to Monterosso in the morning and enjoy the largest of the five villages, rich in history and featuring impressive statues, some of which require a bit of effort to reach.
Then you’ll take the train to the charming village of Vernazza, shaped like a little jewel box. Lose yourself in its narrow alleys — called “carruggi” in the local dialect — and you won’t regret it. Later during the day, you can take the train to visit Corniglia, with its 382 steps (you can take the shuttle bus to reach the top) and its beautiful churches and panoramas, before returning to Manarola in the evening.
Our tip is to bring your swimsuit and enjoy a swim in Monterosso and Vernazza!
Day 4 departure
Check-out and departure. Or extend your stay, and explore some more highlights:
Discover the stunning town of Portovenere. From Manarola, you’ll take the scheduled boat to reach this picturesque seaside village, enjoying the views of the Cinque Terre coastline along the way. Spend the day exploring Portovenere’s breathtaking viewpoints, unspoiled natural beauty, colorful houses and historic sites, before returning by ferry to Manarola.

What is CETS?
The European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) is a certification pathway, which enables better management of protected areas for the development of sustainable tourism. The core element of CETS is collaboration among all stakeholders to develop a common strategy and action plan for tourism development, based on a thorough analysis of the local situation.
The Charter is issued to parks that have submitted a concrete program of actions, related to the principles of ecotourism and environmental sustainability, to be implemented over a period of 5 years.
The main purpose of the charter is to increase sustainable development and management of tourism in protected areas that takes into account the needs of the environment, residents, local businesses and visitors.
Our package includes accommodation in CETS establishments, carefully chosen to offer you comfort and an authentic atmosphere: in Manarola for the standard option or in Monterosso, for the deluxe option.
We will provide you also with everything you need to walk freely and safely: roadbook, maps, local tips and telephone assistance.
You will be given local tips on little-known viewpoints, traditional restaurants offering Ligurian cuisine and wineries to taste wines produced on the terraces of the Cinque Terre.
If you wish, you can add special experiences such as guided tours, boat trips or pesto making classes.
As we also would like to include and permit the visit of this unique territory to hikers, this package can come in an HIKING version, with GPX maps to discover the area on foot. Please, remember that this territory is not made for everybody: you need to be fit and able to walk distances and, above all, streets up and downhill and stairs and steps.
