5 Star Wines, Ligurian viticulture awarded
Great result for Ligurian viticulture, awarded once again this year by 5 Star Wines, the Vinitaly-branded competition which – despite the Veronese Show had been postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic emergency – did not miss its annual appointment, continuing to reward all those wineries that invest in the improvement of their products. Among the wineries awarded with prestigious awards there are, once again, several Ligurian realities, first of all Cantine Lunae Bosoni (Luni – SP) which won the most coveted recognition of the entire competition: the special prize “Cantina dell’anno- Gran Vinitaly 2020” to which is added another important award, that of Best white wine of Italy with the Colli di Luni Doc Vermentino” Black Label “2019 which, with a score of 96/100, entered the publication following the competition.
It is “5 Star Wines – The Book 2021”, the guide in paper and digital format which, at the sole discretion of an international panel of experts, recognizes and rewards the quality of Italian wines and which is spread throughout Italy and all abroad on the occasion of the main trade fairs, B2B meetings, tastings and masterclasses addressed to professionals in the wine business.
Among the best wines of Italy, according to 5 Star Wines, there is also another Ligurian wine: the Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà DOP 2018 from the Azienda Agricola Possa (Riomaggiore – SP) by Samuele Heydi Bonanini, judged as Best Sweet wine with 98 points out of 100. Another Ligurian pride that is added to the prizes assigned to other regional wines listed below, testifying how Ligurian viticulture, even in times of crisis, is the flagship of the agri-food production of the land of Liguria.
