The sea of the Cinque Terre is fantastic even in winter: discover it with kayak!
When we say Cinque Terre, everyone thinks of the heat and the sun of spring, summer and the first part of autumn, generally tempered in this marvelous corner of Liguria. But, don’t make the mistake to think that this area is off limits during the winter. Indeed, if the majority of visitors who come here from all over the world every year choose the summer, you can make a different choice and to discover these five beloved villages in this period: you will have many pleasant surprises. Thanks to the temperatures that hardly become frigid, due to the mitigating action of the sea, you can take advantage of the hours of sunshine to experience the Cinque Terre from different elements: not only from the earth, with trekking and many experiences that our tour operator proposes year after year, but also in the air, with paragliding forbidden to the faint of heart, and from the water. In particular, the latter is the ideal dimension to know the stretch of coast that goes from Riomaggiore to Monterosso and the territory that dominates it, characterized by terracing.
Among the many ideas, starting from October 2018 there is the winter kayak tour, a special version of one of the most popular experiences during the summer.
Don’t worry: thanks to the equipment that you will be provided before you take off, you will be ready to start this adventure without surprises and, always accompanied by a guide, paddling after paddling you will move away from the mainland to offshore, you will enjoy an incredible landscape, along the stretch between Monterosso and Corniglia. In addition to having at your disposal this wonderful land overlooking the sea, made by inlets, cliffs and strong colors in a period certainly not crowded, if you love nature and you want to find a 100% ecological way to move – as well as healthy -, the kayak is for you.
This proposal is suitable for everyone, so it can also be ideal for families.

Duration: approximately 3.5 hours
Included in the price: Guide, sit-in sea kayak, paddle, life jacket, splash guard, wetsuit, thermal shirt, water jacket, neoprene boots, watertight bag.
Food is not included, but a lunch package with water (€ 10) is available on request.
What to bring: swimsuit, towel, a dry change, water bottle.
