There are a lot of good restaurants in the Cinque Terre offering the local seafood cuisine with specialties like the anchovies in several styles or the stuffed mussels or, of course, the fresh pesto.
But there are also some hidden treasures, unique places, for the cuisine or for the ambience. Just to mention the Cappun Magru – probably the best restaurant of the Cinque Terre offering traditional dishes re-interpreted in modern style by its Chef Maurizio. It’s just a little challenge to reach it since it is located in the tiny village of Groppo, 1 km above Manarola.
A trendy wine bar is located in a spectacular position right over the sea in Riomaggiore. Here you can enjoy incredible views, listen to music and learn more about the local wines. Arbaspàa offers a guided winetasting in this place.
An ancient wine cellar is located in Manarola, owned by a young local man with a passion for good music and good wine. Often you find there both elements combined – musicians from near and far meet often spontaneously to perform some Jazz Session. Also there Arbaspàa offers a winetasting of different wines from the Cinque Terre with some snacks.
