Appointment with beauty: Sunday, View Day at Punta Mesco
What to do on the second Sunday of September? If you have not yet written anything on your planner, this is an unmissable appointment for you: this is the “View Day”, a joint event of the Italian Environmental Fund (Fondo Ambientale Italiano) and the Zegna Foundation, which on September 10 will allow you to discover some of the most beautiful corners of Italy, where nature and men’s work merge into a place with few equals.
For the Liguria it was chosen the Podere Case Lovara of Punta Mesco, FAI’s good example of environmental landscaping restoration: from 10am to 6pm, accompanied by expert guides, visitors can discover amazing views, evolution, to the present state.
The special itineraries “between the sky and the earth” on the promontory between Levanto and Monterosso, in famous Cinque Terre, are different: the first one will focus on the center the agricultural and rural complex, seen from the trail and illustrated with the story of the place, landscape and of the recovery project; the second will be on the open sea, while the third itinerary will put the attention on the local vegetation, admired with a view of the National Park of Cinque Terre.
At 11 o’clock is scheduled a concert organized by the founders of the Amfiteatrof music festival, accompanied by a tasting of typical locality.
During the day, visitors can enjoy a packed lunch.
