Where are your accommodations located?

The majority of our accommodations are located in Manarola but we have options in Riomaggiore, Vernazza and La Spezia.

We provide bed linens, towels, body and hand wash, and shampoo.

It is not clear where my accommodation is on Google Maps.

We normally provide the address of our accommodations. Bear in mind that Google and Apple maps are not reliable in the Cinque Terre area, as some narrow streets might not exist in the system. Moreover, the app might take you elsewhere and give you the wrong indications.
For that reason, we are more than happy to clarify and to give you the exact location of the accommodation you chose.

Will you meet me at the accommodation?

Manarola: it might depend on what you choose. You will be receiving the necessary information once you book.

Riomaggiore, Vernazza and La Spezia: you will be meeting one of our collaborators, and will be given their phone number to communicate with them directly.

Do you store luggage?

Manarola: We can store your luggage for free on the day you check-in in our trekking store Explora located in via Discovolo 204. Bear in mind that, in high season, we might not have enough space to store it; the sooner you get to the store, the better!
The storage service will have a fee on your check-out date, which corresponds to Euro 1.00 per luggage for 1 hour, Euro 2.00 per luggage for 2 hours, and Euro 5.00 per luggage for the whole day.
This service is only available from March to the end of October.

Riomaggiore: we do not offer this type of service. However, at the train station of Riomaggiore, there is a luggage deposit.

Vernazza: we do not offer this type of service. However, at the train station of Vernazza, there is a luggage deposit.

La Spezia: we do not offer this type of service.

What if I need help with my luggage in the Cinque Terre?

Manarola: There is no luggage transport service.

Riomaggiore: This service is operated by Roberto Pecunia.

Vernazza: There is no luggage transport service.

Are the villages easily reachable?

By train: It takes about 10 minutes from La Spezia to Riomaggiore, the first village of Cinque Terre. 30 minutes to reach Monterosso, the last village.

By car: It takes about 30 minutes from La Spezia (railway station) to Riomaggiore, the first village of Cinque Terre. About 50 minutes to reach Monterosso.

Are your accommodations accessible?

Unfortunately, our apartments are not equipped for wheelchairs users or for people with mobility issues. Additionally, the presence of stairs in the Cinque Terre makes them difficult to reach. Railway stations in the Cinque Terre are not equipped with services for the disabled; the only way to reach the villages is by car. For this main reason, we recommend Monterosso, which is the largest in width and the one with less stairs and hills, or to book your accommodation in La Spezia.

Do I need a car in the Cinque Terre?

As previously mentioned, it is strictly forbidden to enter the villages with a car. The train is the fastest and most practical way.

If you want to reach the Cinque Terre by car, the villages develop from top to bottom and the parking lots are located in the upper part of the towns.

We offer the option to our customers in Riomaggiore e Manarola to use one of our garages for the price of € 25.00 per day. Our spaces are limited, so be sure to rent one as soon as you make the reservation.

If you are out of luck and there is no availability, there are parking spaces at the top of each village, although limited. If you want to make sure that you can find a parking spot, we suggest to leave the car in La Spezia and to reach your destination by train.

Is there a city tax ?

There is city tax whose price may very depending on the area. We require its payment by cash.

Manarola and Riomaggiore: Euro 3.00 per person per night for the first 3 nights of your stay.

Vernazza: Euro 3.00/night per person for the first 3 nights of your stay.

La Spezia: Euro 2.50/night per person for the first 3 nights of your stay.

Can I bring my pet?

It is allowed in some of our accommodations. Make sure to check the description!
The extra fee is Euro 10.00/day per pet in cash.

Why do I need to show my documents?

It is required by Italian law to identify guests. Additionally, the information of your documents must be sent to local authorities within 24 hours.
