Levanto
is a little municipality near La
Spezia (Liguria)- The town lies on the coast at
the end of a valley and it’s densely forested with European
olive and pine trees. Levanto is part of the Cinque Terre
National
Park.
During the 9th century, the bell tower of
Levanto was held at defence against pirates and dangers from the sea.
Today the town is a celebrated surfing holiday resort.
