The new guesthouse ”Monteverdi Resort”, has been opened in Summer 2008, and is located in the historical centre of La Spezia in Via Migliari 35, just 5 min walking distance from the train station. You can reach the Cinque Terre by train very easily in only in 8 min. The harbour of La Spezia is close, too, about 10 min walking distance. From La Spezia it's possible to do boat excursions to Lerici, Portovenere, Palmaria Island, Portofino and the Cinque Terre. With the highway from La Spezia you can easily reach Pisa, Genoa, Florence and the airports as well as the Ligurian Riviera and Tuscany.
The guesthouse is in a quiet area of La Spezia, not far from the beautiful shopping street, good restaurants and bars. It offers 5 beautiful, large guestrooms (named after the villages of the Cinque Terre), everyone in its own color theme. All of them have a private bathroom, air conditioning, LCD-TV, internet-plug.
