Acquired by Solido Hotels in 2007, following a meticulous and painstaking restoration carried out by Solido Interior Design led by Brunella Pignatiello, shows a new look and a new brand, Eighthotels. The recently refurbished hotel offer its guests a fresh, modern and elegant environment with 13 different rooms in terms of size and typologies, all equipped with every comfort. Light colours to amplify the effect of the light of the bay combined to neutral and relaxing nuances as well as flowers, essences and scented candles to perfume the environment and the spirit. All the elements concur to create a unique and magical place, a perfect gateway for a wonderful stay that will remain forever in the heart of the guests who will definitely wish to return.
The link with the centre of Portofino is guaranteed by a private shuttle service. Set in a veranda overlooking the beach of one of the most enchanting bays of Liguria, at Paraggi – Portofino, the restaurant is the sea-side equivalent of the renowned "Delle Antiche Contrade” in Cuneo, praised by the Michelin guide book. The young and extremely talented chef from Savona – winner of several awards and accolades - Luigi Taglienti (Nominated Best Young Chef of 2009 by the magazine L’Espresso) proposes his customers his greatly appreciated recipes taking inspiration from marine traditions.
The restaurant, housed in a magnificent villa from the XIX century overlooking the sea of this magic bay close to “Portofino”, is managed by the Patron Mr. Giorgio Chiesa from Santa Margherita Ligure and is part of the Eight Hotel Paraggi. The restoration works have been carried out by the interior designer Brunella Pignatiello. The restaurant is open from Easter to half October, everyday both for lunch and dinner. In addition to the restaurant, guests can also enjoy a private beach, a lounge bar for special tasty aperitifs not to mention the possibility of staying at Eight Hotel Paraggi.
