Groppo is a historical village about 1 km above Manarola surrounded by the typical olive and wine terraces of the Cinque Terre and easily reachable by car from Manarola.
The small village is very quiet and original, but thanks to the restaurant "Cappun Magru" Groppo is internationally knwon: the small, excellent restaurant of Maurizio Bordone and his german wife Christiane, which has been recently rewarded with the first Michelin star for its exclusive quality and the new imaginative interpretation of ancient Ligurian recipes.
Don't miss to book early an unforgettable dinner during your stay in Groppo. Further in Groppo there is also the cooperative of the wine producers of the Cinque Terre.
How to reach Groppo: the village is easily reachable by car. From/to Manarola are running public busses. Don't hesitate to ask us for further information about the timetable.
